TerraGreen is TERI's flagship magazine that deals with issues related to sustainable development, environment, and energy. In a world standing on the brink of a major ecological disaster, TG hopes to be the ray of light that lights up the road ahead.
The August issue of TerraGreen presents the cover story titled 'Megadiverse India’. Dr Yogesh Gokhale analyses India’s position from the domestic, as well as international point of view, and finds out what the country needs to do to safeguard its rich biodiversity. The 'In conversation' section features an interview with Larry Brilliant, former director of Google’s philanthropic arm Google.org, in which he shares his opinions about sustainability and climate change. In the ‘Comments’ section, Radhika Divakaran finds out what deregulation of fuel prices means for the aam aadmi. In the 'Features' section, Ranjan K Panda reports on the implications of the CRZ Notification 2010 and the impact of unchecked construction of ports in the state.
